Mark Moriarty Studio is seeking a General Manager to oversee a unique food and event space in the heart of Dublin 2.

This is not a traditional restaurant role. It’s an opportunity to shape a chef’s table experience, manage high-level events, and be part of a forward-thinking culinary studio from day one.

Whats the job?

• Lead a small, dynamic team to deliver world class guest experiences in a unique location in the heart of Dublin.

• Lead the guest journey and each event from briefing to close.

• Manage back-of-house operations, admin templates, and daily communications.

• Drive the financial performance: from pricing, stock, reconciliations, invoices, payroll, and gratuity distribution.

• Help to build the Mark Moriarty Studio culture of excellence grounded in development, empowerment and respect.

• Manage systems: POS, Reservations, reporting, rosters, and daily management meetings.

• Assist in recruiting and developing up and coming talent. This is a key cornerstone of the business.

Who are we looking for?

• A passionate hospitality pro. Somebody with plenty of personality, matched with experience in fine dining and dynamic event management.

• Someone with initiative and drive - energetic, determined, and proactive in pursuing the goals of the company alongside their own. This is a start up.

• Strength in IT with a focus on POS/reservations systems, excel, and presentations.

• In depth knowledge of health/safety, payroll, and financial reconciliation.

• A clear communicator who leads with professionalism, warmth and fun.

Head Chef

We are building something special and looking for an experienced & ambitious Head Chef to lead our small kitchen team alongside Mark.

This is not your traditional Head Chef role. It’s an opportunity to shape a unique chef’s table experience and menu, manage high-level events and work with some of the world’s best ingredients in the heart of Dublin 2. In addition to the ‘traditional’ restaurant roles, there’s an opportunity to develop quality TV and media content, work alongside world class brands, host some of the best hospitality names in our industry and travel for a variety of events.

We are looking for someone with experience in top level fine dining, who can manage and lead a start up with precision, creativity and consistent excellence…

Whats the job?

Assist in leading a small, dynamic kitchen team to deliver world class dining experiences in a unique location in the heart of Dublin.
Driving the financial performance of the business alongside Mark Moriarty and the General Manager
All the usual head chef jobs: ordering, rostering, training, food costing, HACCP and running services
Menu and recipe development
Assist in executing a range of events, in the Studio itself, offsite and internationally.
Work with Mark Moriarty Studios partners to develop even further
Help to build the Mark Moriarty Studio culture of excellence grounded in development, empowerment and respect.
Assist in recruiting and developing up and coming talent. This is a key cornerstone of the business.

Who are we looking for?

A passionate & ambitious hospitality pro. Somebody with plenty of personality, matched with initiative and experience in top tier fine dining.
Technical ability, we need someone with experience in every section of the kitchen.
Previous experience in a senior management role.
Thorough knowledge of payroll management, roster planning, time sheets, budgets and G.P. controls.
Great interpersonal skills, especially with guests, this role involves a large amount of interaction with guests and clients as well as a clear communicator who leads with professionalism, warmth and fun.
